The Maplewood PBA Local 44 team in the Senior Division of the Maplewood-South Orange Girls Softball League is now tied for  second place with Save Our South Foundation.  Led by coach John Grew, the team has won two of the last three games.  In PBA Local 44's game against the South Orange Lions Club, Claire Davenport picked up her fourth win of the season and homered. Sarah Bayless and Zoe Labat also homered, helping the team defeat the South Orange Lions Club by a score of 13-9.  PBA Local 44 also defeated the South Orange Lions Club 11 -1 on May 1.  In that game, Olivia Prescod reached base on two singles and two walks in four plate appearances.  Claire Davenport picked up the win, striking out seven and retiring 12 of the last 13 batters.
