Maplewood South Orange Youth football standout receives Top Gun invite.

Maplewood Middle school student-athlete Garrett Grafton recently attended a Football University Camp in Denville, NJ at Morris Catholic.

FBU was founded as an elite educational football camp and is by invitation only. It is instructed by former NFL coaches and athletes.

Garrett is a 7th grader at Maplewood Middle School and plays on the offensive line for the MSO PACKERS.  He has played football for the MSO PACKERS for 6 years . At camp, he was rated as a “Top Gun Invite,” which qualifies him to attend FBU’s Top Gun camp the third week of July in Williamsburg, Virginia.  Garrett will be training with 200 hundred of the top seven and eight grade football players in the US and have an opportunity to be coach by NFL staffers.

Garrett plans on playing for the MSO Packers 7th/8th grade Cougar football team in the fall 2011 season.  Information about Maplewood / South Orange youth football teams can be found at  www.msopackers.org.
