Maplewood-South Orange Girls Softball, which has been an independent program until now, will join Babe Ruth Softball this spring. Babe Ruth Softball is open to girls ages five through eighteen. The MSO Softball Committee chose to join Babe Ruth League because it means not having to change its current structure, but gaining the advantages of a fast-growing national organization, such as the chance to compete in the Districts and go on to play in a state tournament.
