Mural by Local Artist Blessed at Oratory Prep
Father Sal DiStefano, chaplain at Oratory Prep School in Summit, recently blessed a 16-foot mural based on Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper" and painted by Jean Canziani, an artist who lives in Springfield and works in Maplewood. Canziani, who is also the mother of Oratory Prep senior Daniel Canziani, was commissioned by former Head of School Marlene Kostka to paint the mural. Patch covered the story as Canziani completed the work last fall.
