Board of Ed Candidates Answer Questions About De-Leveling

The six candidates expressed their views on the decision to reduce levels in the middle schools and high school.

The six candidates for Board of Education — incumbents Wayne Eastman and Jennifer Payne-Parrish and newcomers Jeff Bennett, Amy Higer, Madhu Pai and Tia Swanson — answered several questions at the Hilton Neighborhood Association candidates forum on March 15, 2012.

The first question was:

How do you feel about the de-leveling and what modifications, additions or evaluation criteria, if any, would you use to assure that de-leveling is creating a better learning environment for our students?
