Entrepreneurial Training for the Unemployed Coming to Hilton Library

QuickStart has seen success elsewhere. Now, it's coming to Maplewood on Jan. 9.

The Institute For Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL) is excited to announce the next session of QuickStart: an Entrepreneurial Training Program for the Unemployed will begin on Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Hilton Branch Library, located at 1688 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood.

QuickStart is a fast-paced six-week training program that teaches unemployed people about entrepreneurship and how to launch their own small business in order to create their own jobs. In addition to the curriculum, QuickStart participants get one-on-one consultations with business experts and are further supported by six months of mentoring from the Institute For Entrepreneurial Leadership. Funded by a grant from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, QuickStart is FREE for people who are unemployed.

To apply, candidates should go to www.ifelnj.org/quickstart to get the application; they can then print it, complete it, and fax it back to IFEL at 973-353-0650.

This training is being co-sponsored by the Township of Maplewood, Maplewood Chamber of Commerce and Springfield Avenue Partnership.
