Fab Four Find Maplewood?
Beatlemania — sponsored by the Maplewood Volunteer First Aid Squad — will perform at MMS on November 19.
“Beatlemania Now" is coming to Maplewood.
The Beatles tribute rolls into town on Saturday, November 19, sponsored by the Maplewood First Aid Squad in order to raise funds for the all-volunteer squad.
Beatlemania was originally produced on Broadway with four look-alike, sound-alike professional musicians capturing the spirit and energy of the Fab Four. The show brings the audience through a 5-year period with John, Paul, George and Ringo from 1964 to 1969.
The cast of “Beatlemania Now” — wearing authentic costumes — will play more than 15 different guitars to ensure a note for note reproduction. The quartet performs 30 classic hits dating with the famous Ed Sullivan era, then moving into the Sergeant Pepper album, and ending up at Abbey Road.
The Maplewood First Aid Squad is a volunteer organization that provides free emergency medical services to the citizens and visitors of Maplewood. The benefit concert will help the squad with operating expenses including medical supplies, insurance, vehicle maintenance and utility costs.
The 7:30 p.m. show will take place on stage at the Maplewood Middle School auditorium. General admission is $16.00 and tickets will be available at the door or call 800-327-7617.
