Family Picnic, Passionate Grasses and More This Week in Maplewood

Here's a look at what's ahead this week in town.

 

 

The Maplewood Farmers Market is open today from 2-7 p.m. on Springfield Avenue at Indiana Street.

Highland Place/Cranes Family Night is tonight at 6 p.m. at 5 Highland Place, Maplewood. "Family Picnic" for 4 with burgers, dogs, potato salad, coleslaw and corn, $30. All kids' menu items, $3

Maplewood Garden Club kicks off its new season with "A Passion for Ornamental Grasses" tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Maplewood Memorial Library, 51 Baker St, Maplewood. Free and open to the public.

The Strollers will hold auditions for The Cemetery Club tonight and Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Burgdorff Center, 10 Durand Rd., Maplewood.

The Committee for Servicemen and Servicewomen meets Tuesday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Municipal Building at 574 Valley Street.

GAS Gallery and Studio hosts an Artist Reception on Saturday from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. for the group exhibit "Elusive Imagery," which runs from Sept. 8 - Oct. 6. 411 Ridgewood Rd, Maplewood.
