Believe it or not, 2012 is just around the corner and you're going to need that new jitney, parking or combination permit if you're a Maplewood commuter.

To aid in the process, Maplewood Town Hall will be open late this Friday, December 16, 2011 — from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. — so that Maplewood residents can purchase 2012 commuter parking/combo/jitney permits, as well as the commuter Smart Card.

The cost of the new permits is:

• Commuter Parking $210.00
• Parking/Jitney Combo $225.00
• Jitney $85.00
• Smart Card (loading) $30.00

Mailed applications are accepted in person by the concierge, Monday through Friday at the Office of the Township Clerk. (Cash and check only are accepted — no credit cards.) You can find the application on the Township Website here or as an attachment to this article. We've also attached the jitney routes and schedules, plus the locations of commuter parking.
