Hats Off to Earth Day at Clinton School

Clinton Elementary celebrated Earth Day on Friday, April 20, with a parade of children wearing hats made of recycled materials.

Clinton Elementary School celebrated Earth Day on Friday with a variety of earth-friendly activities.

The Earth Day Hat Parade was back again this year, and students in kindergarten through second grade marched outside the school modeling their amazing hat creations, all completely made out of recycled materials. Third grade students are busy working on inventions to protect the environment and fourth and fifth grade students created original Earth Day poems that are being entered in the New Jersey 2012 Recycling Poetry Contest.
