Local couple looking great—Talented, too
The Sockwells are just hitting their stride About Town...
Jill and Felix Sockwell are looking quite well these days. I've been running into Felix cycling about on his signature rickshaw bike quite a bit- no small feat since he's newly recovered from a nasty little bout of appendicitis. The bursting/multiple surgery sort... Not that I covet the condition, but the guy seriously looks like a 10-year-younger, svelter version of himself!
Not to be outdone, his already adorable (and quite hilarious) wife, Jill, has been training for the NYC marathon this coming weekend. I bumped her into Tuesday at the polls while she was helping drum up bake sale funds for Prospect Co-op Nursery School and the woman seriously looks like one long, lean suburbalicious supermodel.
Now in addition to her already bustling Stella & Dot business, she's setting her sights on becoming a commercial actress. Given this gal's personality I foresee some serious success for the ad campaigns I'm sure she'll soon be appearing in.
Did I mention their two daughters are ridiculously cute, too?! And that Felix is an accomplished artist and graphic designer?! And that Jill is running the Marathon for the American Liver Foundation in honor of her father-in-law, recently placed on the transplant list? (She's just a few hundred dollars shy of the $2,500 goal if you'd like to make a donation.)
Now that's what I'd call one rather remarkable family!
