The Maplewood Democratic Committee held its 2nd Annual Hall of Fame event on Monday, March 11 at Giorgio's Ristorante in South Orange.

Inductees were Christopher J. Durkin and Celia M. King.  Mr. Durkin grew up in Maplewood and, since January 2006, serves all of Essex County as County Clerk. Ms. King served on the Maplewood Township Committee from 1994 to 2002, and held the position of Vice Mayor from 1997-2001.  Ms. King was also active as a
member of the Maplewood Democratic Committee for 15 years.  

About 100 people attended the event, including Democratic Committee members from South Orange and West Orange, and a number of elected officials.
