On Wednesday, Feb. 1, Joe Strupp, proprietor of the Maplewoodian blog and a long-time reporter for outlets such as Media Matters and Editor & Publisher, hosted a local reporters' round table via phone.

Strupp conversed with Phillip Sean Curran of the News-Record and Mary Mann of Maplewood Patch about actions taken by the Township Committee in the first month of 2012. Topics covered included the approved beer garden at Maplewoodstock, a proposed smoking ban in public parks and playgrounds, the 2012 budget process, and the new make-up of the Township Committee.
