What are this fall's hot back to school items? "Kids are still into skinny jeans, and they like a lot of bling," said Kim Baugh, owner of Milk Money children’s consignment shop on Ridgewood Road in Maplewood. "The sparklier the better."
The store, which carries shirts, pants, dresses, shoes and accessories, is fully stocked with fall merchandise.
Uggs and North Face fleeces continue to be sought-after items for all ages. Tweens flock to anything from Abercrombie, Hollister, Crew Cuts and tea, and stylish boys are very into Underarmour. (Milk Money carries up to size 14.) For the little ones, Mini Boden, Lands End and Janie & Jack and Hanna Andersson are all the rage.
In addition, the shop has a selection of winter coats, snow boots, skipants and ski equipment, and ice skates.
Milk Money only accepts for consignment clothes that are in good condition, so shoppers can be assured of the high quality at extremely reasonable prices.
Downstairs, there are strollers, bikes, games, toys and sports equipment. The store offers a colorful children's playroom so that parents can shop in peace.
