E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial Phoned Home from Memorial Park

Skies brightened and the movie went off as planned.

The free screening of E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, scheduled for last Friday night but postponed due to excessive heat, is on for tonight — Friday, July 29, at 8:30 p.m. — in Memorial Park across from the Maplewood Train Station.

The 1982 Spielberg classic will be shown at the Amphitheater at Memorial Park tonight, July 29, at 8:30 p.m., brought to you by the Maplewood Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs; the Maplewood Village Alliance; and Studio B. Everyone is welcome to this family-friendly classic, but please leave strollers, pets and alcoholic beverages — and any adorable space aliens — at home. The movie is free.
