NJ Transit Statement on Morning Delay
NJ Transit officials explain this morning's mess and say it'll be cleared up for this afternoon
NJ Transit has released a statement concerning this morning's delays. Evidently, a loose wire from an Amtrak train disabled a transit train shortly after it left New York's Penn station. The transit train had to be towed back to Penn, and the wire had to be repaired.
Normal scheduled operations resumed this morning at 9:20, so your afternoon commute should be OK.
