Maplewood blogger today updated her account of attending the Michael Jackson memorial at Harlem's Apollo Theater with her impressions of the memorial service held for Jackson in Los Angeles. Her account is moving, and partially excerpted below.

"I didn’t cry when I heard Michael died. I was in total disbelief.

I didn’t cry when I walked through Maplecrest Park yesterday and saw kids dancing to the Jackson Five’s song “ABC.” It was too cute and I was too focused on getting to Harlem in time for the tribute to Michael at the Apollo."
