The Dickens Village Houses are up in Ricalton Square, thanks to a crew of dedicated DPW workers. The houses are not yet decorated, but will be in time for their official unveiling on Dec. 8. That's also the day of the Village Christmas tree lighting and Santa's arrival by fire truck, with the menorah lighting following on Dec. 11.

(By the way, this year is the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens).

The Village is also fully decked out in garland, wreaths and holiday lights.
