A little snow did little to frighten away the Seth Boyden School faithful on Friday night as parents, students and friends of the school turned out for the 2nd Annual Seth Boyden Spotlight Parent-Staff Talent Show.

The auditorium was about 75 percent full as fans came to cheer Principal Mark Quiles and parent luminaries like Marco Ranieri, Charlie Pollock, Bud Mishkin, Bruno Lee and Kendra Thyne as they exhibited their respective professional music, theater, media, jazz and ballet credentials.

The event, organized by Kelly Heinze, raised more than $800 for the Seth Boyden PTA. PTA President Susie Adamson, Patti Killian, Jesse Reyes, A.J. DeLuca, Maureen Koppenaal, Ms. Bathmann, Mr. Edgerton, Tim Welch, Raquel Horn and Joanne Mayberry also worked to support the fundraiser.

Other performers included Josh Stout, Wendy Bellerman, Patrick Alphonse, Eric Shorter, Peri Smilow, Susan Leone, Steve Carberry and Ray Leone of StarFish.

Seth Boyden's next big night is Sunday, March 17, when the Seth Boyden Series will feature Tim Gunn, from Project Runway. The event will be held in the auditorium at Columbia High School. More details here. Buy tickets here: brownpapertickets.com/
