You may have noticed that the usual daily flood* of Patch twitter messages has slowed to a trickle. There’s a reason for that. As has been reported in several news outlets, the micro-messaging service was attacked by hackers. The site was down for several hours.

While it is now up, Twitter isn’t yet back up to full strength. So if you notice that the time code next to the Twitter message at the top of the screen is alarmingly out of date, don’t panic. Patch is still open for business. It’s just twitter that’s trembling.
