Shred-a-thon Is On!
Until noon today, get your old papers, binders and financials over the Recycling Center.
Joe Coletta, general manager of Safe Shredding in Roseland, reminds us that his company will be providing a shredding truck for the Maplewood Township-sponsored Shred-a-thon event at Public Works today at 359 Boyden Avenue from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
All Maplewood residents are invited to bring their confidential household paper to be destroyed on-site at no charge. Says Coletta, "The truck can shred any staple. clip, binder or book — yes, even hard cover — and it will be destroyed right in front of you."
There is a built in closed circuit TV screen that allows you to safely watch your paper being fed into the shredder.
Fun!

Bummer, I missed it! Do you know if they will be back in Maplewood soon?

Irene, my guess is that they will definitely be back for Green Day but that's in early October. Try Joe Cotella of Safe Shredding to find out: joe@njshred.com.
