Some Lingering Outages in Maplewood

PSE&G says 21,000 customers across the state are without power as of 11:30 a.m. Nov. 3. Up to 500 of them are in Maplewood.

Things are slowly getting back to normal here in Maplewood — putting us well ahead of some other towns to our north and west.

All the as of this morning, and many residents have regained power. Roads are also getting cleared of debris and downed wires.

As of 11:30 a.m., November 3, the PSE&G outage map shows that Essex County continues to be the most adversely affected county in the state served by PSE&G — with upwards of 10,000 customer outages remaining. However, Maplewood is listed as having between 1 and 500 outages (South Orange, on the other hand, still has 501-2000 customers without power, according to the map).
