Star-Ledger: State Courts Closed Monday

Courts closed for furlough day

The state courts are closed on Monday, June 29, because of a furlough day for state workers, according to a Star-Ledger report. Municipal courts are open.

While other state departments have canceled furloughs because of union negotiations, the courts system has stuck with a plan for two furlough days for workers, according to the report. County probation and business offices will also be closed, according to the report.

In addition to paying parking and traffic tickets at the municipal courts, they can be paid online.
