It may not have been the perfect spring day weatherwise, but that didn't stop Tuscan School family and friends from enjoying a great day at the annual Tuscan Fair on Saturday, May 14.
Fun included face painting, sand art, fortune telling and various games of skill and chance for a good cause — including an adults-only game of musical chairs won by Joe Strupp.
The funds raised go to the Tuscan PTA.
New this year was a classroom basket raffle. Each class donated items to their themed basket. Some of the themes included a Reader Lover's Basket with books and gift cards to Words, a Baking Basket with apron and kitchen utensils, and a Beach Basket with sand toys.
Food and treats included hot dogs, sno-kones and cotton candy. To counter the sugar overload, there was a healthy snacks table with fruit and vegetables.
While it drizzled for a short period, nothing seemed to dampen the Tuscan Tiger spirit.
