Township Holds First 2013 Budget Meeting Saturday

Public is invited to attend the 9 a.m. meeting at Town Hall.

The public is invited to attend — and participate in — the Township of Maplewood's first public budget meeting for the 2013 municipal budget on Saturday, Jan. 5 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Town Hall.

Town adminstrative staff will present an overview of the entire budget, reviewing revenue and expenses from 2012 and projections for 2013. Department heads will present their requests and goals for the year, and will answer questions from committee members on their operating, capital and personnel budget requests.

Residents will have an opportunity to air their views on the budget during the public comment period of the meeting. The meetings will be televised on SOMAtv.

The second public meeting will be on Saturday, January 12.
