Walking down the hallways of Columbia High School can be like walking through a moving runway. From hair to shoes, students are dressed to impress, showing off the newest fashions of that season, a live catalog of what’s in and what’s out. How you look is the first thing that shows people who you are, and what better way to express yourself than through your clothing?

As the weather gets colder, fashion is bringing the warmth of summer inside with bright summer colors, sweaters and cardigans to keep girls cozy in hopes of snow. These colors bring nature indoors when used on loose flowing clothing and they make for runway worthy outfits walking down the halls of Columbia High School.

But lately, fashion is all about the shoes! Boots boots and more boots, from knee high, to combat, and everyone’s favorite, Ugg’s, almost every girl walking down the hallway at Columbia High School is wearing a pair. With stores like Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, and Target, the newest styles are at our fingertips at prices even high schoolers can afford.

But, one of the more pricey trends that have shown up at Columbia High School is feather extensions. This trend involves going to a salon and getting feathers attached to the hair so that a little can be seen at all times. Emphasizing the more natural colors and shape of the clothing this fall, the feathers are being seen more and more often. But remember, once they are in, it will be some time before they come out!

And whatever students wear, whether its designer chic or vintage boutique, Columbia High School's students aim to look their best.
