It's time for the Wrappers' Delight! (Our apologies to fans of The Sugar Hill Gang.)

From Nov. 28 through Dec. 9, the Parenting Center of the South Orange-Maplewood School District accepted cash and gift donations for the 2011 Toy Drive. The drive will supply holiday joy to children from infancy through age 16 in more than 150 families who participate in the school district.

Now that the toys are collected and purchased, it's time to wrap 'em. Toy Drive Co-Chair Lorraine Caputo has put the word out that wrapping will take place this Wednesday, December 14.

Wrote Caputo, "Join us at the Board of Education building (525 Academy Street) from 6-10:30 p.m. that night. Teenagers are very welcome to help with this. "

There's no need to RSVP, just show up ready to rap, er, wrap.
