n12COMICS PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY\nThe 12 Comics method promotes the connecti
on of student academic achievement to the growth of their super hero cha
racter. The better the student does in school\, the students' created he
ro becomes more prominent and powerful. Report card grades\, completed h
omework assignments\, and test scores are all converted into points (i.e
. an A or 100% on a test equals 20 points). These points are applied to
the student's super hero character statistics. This motivates students t
o complete school work and to study knowing their success will affect th
eir character and comic book story.\nIn addition to creating and develop
ing a superhero character\, students have the opportunity to participate
in our entrepreneurial component.&nbsp\; This allows students to experi
ence the marketing\, and selling\, of their comic book as well as receiv
ing royalties from sales of any merchandise or book signings that featur
e their character.\nAt the end of the school year\, students will produc
e either a custom biographical comic book or a collaborative\, professio
nally illustrated comic book. \nFor More Information visit our website o
