Sanskriti of NJ (formerly Asian Indians of Livingston) will be hosting their 4th annual India Fest on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 17th, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the West Essex YMCA in Livingston (rain date June 24th).
The Fest is an annual tradition in Livingston and offers a variety of cultural programming as well as shopping for Indian clothes and arts. Taste the many flavors of Indian cuisine at the food stalls that will be hosted by some fine local restaurants. There will be fun games and crafts for children.
Sanskriti has also planned a colorful and entertaining cultural program lasting five hours that will begin at noon to showcase the rich and diverse dance and musical styles of India. The day will be made extra special with a raffle for all the Father’s attending. Prizes will include restaurant certificates, golf gift packages, and gift baskets.

More About West Essex YMCA
This 24,000-square-foot, fully equipped sports facility is the local branch of the Metro YMCAs of the Oranges. It offers classes and equipment to meet the wellness needs of all age groups. The facility features a pool, two basketball courts, a racquetball court, a wellness center, cardio machines, free weights, Cybex and Strive fitness machines, saunas, steam rooms and locker rooms with showers.
For youth and teens, the YMCA offers many sports, fitness and enrichment classes, plus comprehensive childcare, before and after school programs for children from infancy through the sixth grade. There are also two summer day camps, both of which are licensed by the state of New Jersey and accredited by the American Camping Association (ACA).
The YMCA offers dozens of adult fitness classes and programs, as well as senior workouts, arthritis swim classes and other specialized instruction classes. Members get free fitness classes and receive reduced rates on programs and childcare.
