 he festivities.\nThe world renowned sculptor and creator of TAU in Meado
 wland Park\, Tony Smith\, would have turned 100 on September 23\, 2012. 
 Join the Lennie Pierro Memorial Arts Foundation and the Village of South
  Orange in a celebration of Smith&rsquo\;s centennial with an all-out co
 mmunity art &ldquo\;happening&rdquo\; in Meadowland Park.&nbsp\;\nIn add
 ition to work by local artists\, the celebration will include the unveil
 ing of a plaque highlighting Tony Smith\, TAU and the contributions of t
 hose who made the installation in 2008 possible\; the presentation of&nb
 sp\;future plans for lighting the sculpture\; and&nbsp\;the launch of a 
 new&nbsp\;www.tonysmithsouthorange.org website.&nbsp\;The public event i
 s free\, rain or shine\, North Ridgewood Road\, South Orange. Light refr
 eshments will be served.
