 s her innovative proposal to offer "a free resource for middle school ki

 pect St.\, Maplewood\, NJ. She will unveil her plan for the first time t
 o the public for ECSEC's diverse audience of parents\, teachers\, Ed.D.'
 s\, and interested residents of area communities\, engaging them in her 
 ideas and inviting the feedback that strengthens innovation in its begin
 ning phases.\nIn her presentation\, Sapna Desai will speak about element
 ary and middle school education in the public schools\, comparing the cu
 rrent system with another system followed around the world\; identifying
  the need to rethink middle school education\, highlighting major loopho
 les\; exploring an opportunity to improve elementary and middle school e
 ducation in under-served communities by providing free reading material 
 and instruction\; and concluding with a proposal to design a thoroughly 
 researched curriculum. The mission is to inspire and encourage the youth
  of today to "dream big" and equip them with quality basic education as 
 a tool to see their dreams fulfilled.\nSapna currently works as a risk c
 ontroller and she is a strong advocate of corporate social responsibilit
 y and participates in diverse volunteering projects with the help of her
  employer\, Deutsche Bank. She is also an active tutor at Two Together\,
  a not-for-profit agency committed to providing one-on-one mentoring to 
 students as a part of their education program.\n&nbsp\;Sapna came to the
  United States in 2001 to pursue her Masters in Computer Engineering. Sh
 e holds a Bachelors degree in Electronics from the University of Mumbai\
 , India and a Masters of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technolog
 y\, Hoboken\, NJ. After her Masters\, she enrolled for PhD studies in In
 formation Systems in Wesley J. Howe School of Management at Stevens. The
 n after having secured a full time position at Barclays Capital\, she sh
 ifted her focus on the new career in Finance and has been on Wall Street
  since 2005. As noted above\, She currently works as a risk controller i
 n Deutsche Bank.\nWe at ECSEC are delighted to have been selected by Sap
 na to introduce her proposal to the area.\n&nbsp\;\nSunday Platforms are
  at 11:00 AM at the Ethical Culture Society of Essex County. The Society
