Cholesterol Screening
May is Stroke Awareness Month and it is important to know your “numbers”. The Overlook Van will be at Main Library to offer cholesterol screening: total cholesterol, HDL and TC/HDL risk ratio are measured using a simple fingerstick. Education and counseling are offered based on results. Fasting is not required. Learn your cholesterol numbers and have your questions answered by a health care professional. The fee is $10

More About Maplewood Memorial Library
The main branch of the Maplewood Library is across the street from Maplewood Middle School and typically thronged by students after school. There's a large children's section with story time sessions and other programming. There are two meeting rooms, which are available to non-profits free of charge. And there are 329 magazine titles and 10,000 audiovisual titles.
