The Maplewood Garden Club will conduct it's monthly meeting on January 9th at 7:30 p.m., focusing on the topic: Successfully Starting Seeds and Rooting Cuttings
Ben Lowell has a BS in Ornamental Horticulture and Environmental Design. He teaches landscape gardening at the Morris County School of Technology and is a member of the Denville Beautification Committee. His presentation will focus on those seed starting and rooting techniques that are most effective for homeowners.
The Maplewood Garden Club is a hands-on garden club, open to both men and women from Maplewood, NJ and the surrounding communities. Meetings are held September through May at the Maplewood Memorial Library (main branch) at 7:30 p.m. and are open to the public.

More About Maplewood Memorial Library
The main branch of the Maplewood Library is across the street from Maplewood Middle School and typically thronged by students after school. There's a large children's section with story time sessions and other programming. There are two meeting rooms, which are available to non-profits free of charge. And there are 329 magazine titles and 10,000 audiovisual titles.
