Are you a caregiver for an older adult looking for ways to help a friend or loved one live comfortably and safely at home? Amy Miano, a licensed clinical social worker and certified geriatric care manager, will provide an overview of helpful programs and resources available for older adults and their caregivers in Essex County and New Jersey at large. The Hilton branch of the Maplewood Memorial Library is a cozy, bright and friendly neighborhood library that boasts an excellent DVD collection and a helpful staff. It has a great kids' area with computer access and comfortable chairs. In addition to the computer stations with Internet access, it also offers free Wi-Fi for laptop users.
