Visual Passion: On Love
This is a multimedia, interactive, art installation at 1978 Maplewood Arts Center. It will include live painting demonstrations and other events, live performance art, music and poetry presentations, installations in the windows of 1978, writing on the wall and video interviews. The topic is the light wonderful side of love and the dark painful side of love. It all culminates in The Visual Passion Experience, July 26 through July 29. This will be when visitors can really participate in this interactive art event in a big way. There will be questions on love asked, creation stations for the visitor to express their visual ideas of love, writing on the wall for visitors to write their secrets and quotes on love. Mikel Frank and Gerard Amsellem will be involved in continuous large scale painting demonstrations.
