Bingo for Kids, Painting Lessons at Geralyn's in Maplewood

Find out what's happening Thursday in town.

Patch has put together some things you need to know for Thursday.

Everyone loves bingo. Almost anyone of any age can play and win, because it involves luck rather than skill, and for many, that's what makes it fun. The Maplewood Public Library's Hilton Branch offers free bingo especially for youngsters Thursday afternoon—if you know your numbers, you can play. The fun starts at 4 p.m. and goes through 4:45. For more info, contact the Children's Room at 973-762-1688. The Hilton Branch is located at 1688 Springfield Ave.

Try your hand at the fine arts. Join Geralyn Roberts and Erin Rogers Pickering of Geralyn's Art Studio for a fun evening of painting and creativity. You don't need previous experience, merely an adventurous spirit that allows you to try something new. The cost is $40, which covers all materials, canvas and instruction. The studio is located at 103 Baker St. For more information, call 973-275-1966.
