Maplewood Rotary Club Finds New Home in Highland Place Bar and Grill

Beginning February 5, 2013, the Maplewood Rotary Club will hold weekly meetings at the Highland Place Bar and Grill each Tuesday at 6:30pm.

For more than a decade, the Maplewood Rotary Club met weekly at Cryan’s in South Orange.  Unexpectedly, the establishment closed, leaving the Club without a meeting place. The Rotary Club had a long-standing relationship with Cyan’s and it felt like the end of an Era.  Rotarians were saddened by the loss, however, they moved forward for the sake of the Maplewood community by seeking a new home.  The Rotarians agreed they would be best served by finding a new location in Maplewood.

The Maplewood Rotary Club is excited to announce a new meeting location- the Highland Place Bar and Grill (5 Highland Place Maplewood, NJ 07040).  Beginning February 5, 2013, the Maplewood Rotary Club will hold weekly meetings at their new home each Tuesday at 6:30pm.

David Beni, President of the Maplewood Rotary Club, said,  “We are grateful to Chris Farrow, owner of Highland Place for welcoming our members to his establishment and allowing us the space required for our meetings. Highland Place has welcomed us with open arms.  Now, we all feel it is time to get back to work making the community and the world a better place to live!  Come and join us for meeting and find out what we are up to.”
