Actors of All Ages Wanted as Supernumeraries in Verismo Opera’s Cavalleria Rusticana

The New Jersey Association of Verismo Opera (Verismo Opera) has several opportunities for children, teenagers, and adults to perform important non-singing, non-speaking acting roles as supernumeraries (supers), similar to extra roles in a movie.  Supers are needed to appear in the company’s upcoming new dramatic production of Cavalleria Rusticana, a double bill with Suor Angelica, on October 20 at 3:00 p.m. at the Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC), 30 North Van Brunt Street in Englewood.

The organization is seeking actors of all ages to assume various roles as villagers.  Girls are especially needed to appear in the procession.  No prior stage experience is required.
