On April 28th, at 10:00 a.m., Judy Scherer, a widely acclaimed career counselor and strategist, who has helped thousands of people in transition land satisfying and successful careers and jobs, will speak with us about “Emerging and Evolving Occupations: Your Next Best Job.” With a masters degree from Harvard in city planning and economic development and a masters in career counseling from NYU, Ms. Scherer is uniquely qualified to clarify clients’ directions, strategies, career development and job searches. Judy is co-author of the “Geography of the App Economy,” cited by the White House for its analysis of the 500,000+ jobs generated by the app economy since 2007. Currently working on a book, “Your Next Best Job,” she has her fingers on the pulse of emerging, evolving and mature occupations and what it takes to advance or change careers and jobs in the rapidly changing job market.
