12th Annual Maplewood in Motion 5K on October 14
Race will benefit Back Pack Pals program.

The Maplewood Lions Club proudly announces the 12th Annual Maplewood in Motion 5K Run (and kid's fun run) scheduled for Sunday, October 14.

The primary beneficiary will be the Rent Part Pantry Back Pack Pals program, which during the school year provides two days worth of food for the weekend to food insecure kids in our community. This worthy program bridges the gap in nutrition left for kids who qualify for subsidized school lunches, but cannot afford sustenance over the weekend.
Additionally, some of the funds will be used to help Maplewood resident Ryan Burbank who suffered a paralyzing injury and will need home care.

You can support both worthy causes causes by registering to run at www.MaplewoodLions.org, and bringing a non-perishable item to the registration table on race day (non-nut breakfast bars are particularly needed)
