The Chamber of Commerce meeting scheduled for Wednesday has been cancelled due to the weather, according to the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce.
"In consideration of the most recent forecast, tomorrow's Chamber of Commerce meeting is cancelled," said Chamber Executive Director Rene Conlon. "We are hoping to reschedule for next week depending on the developers schedule."
The Maplewood Chamber of Commerce was scheduled to host a special meeting Wednesday, with a presentation from L&M Developers, who was recently selected for the Post Office redevelopment site.
The meeting was slated from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at St. James' Gate, located at 167 Maplewood Ave. When the meeting is rescheduled, it will cost $10 for members and $20 for future members.
L&M will be on hand to share their renderings and talk about the redevelopment of the site.
The preliminary layout includes street level retail space suitable for Kings Supermarket, currently located across Maplewood Ave., a ground floor level of retail spaces, and 25 apartments above.
