New Editor For Maplewood- South Orange Patches

Hello Readers!

I am very pleased to be your new Local Editor for your Maplewood and South Orange Patches. As your new Editor I will do my best to bring you every bit of news surrounding communities. Although I am new to Maplewood and South Orange, I have been at Patch, covering local communities for the past year.

I am no stranger to the close-knit communities of Maplewood and South Orange, having lived in Essex county my entire life.

There are important things to know about me, the first is that I strive for perfection in fairness and accuracy in my reporting. The second is that I am always available should you need to speak with me or send a story idea my way.

Now that I am writing for your towns you will see me at all your local events and meetings. I love meeting my readers so don't hesitate to seek me out for a comment, question or just to chat.

I want to know what YOU think! If you have an event, post it on Patch. If you have something to say, write about it. You have the knowledge and the tools, we will provide the venue.

Blogs are free, and you do not need any professional writing experience to blog. There are no deadlines, and you may post blogs as often (or as little) as you like. The topic is up to you - whether you choose to write about an organization and its projects, or on a personal subject, or both!
