In honor of African-American History Month, Christ Church of Summit presents the second annual “Let Justice Roll” concert on Saturday February 25th at 7:30 PM. The admission price is $15.00 per person and tickets/donations can be purchased online at http://www.ChristChurchSummit.org/LetJusticeRoll Tickets (limited) available at door.
The feature work will be "Let Justice Roll", a musical adaptation of Martin Luther King Jr.’s "Letter from a Birmingham Jail", composed by Mark A. Miller, Minister of Music at Christ Church in Summit, composer, and faculty member at Drew and Yale Universities. Emmy-award winning actor Gaius Charles will narrate the piece.
The music, much of which is composed by Mark Miller, will be performed by several well-known area choirs: the Good News Choir of Plainfield, the Ubuntu Pan Af Choir of Drew University, and the Christ Church Chancel Choir and Youth Choir.
This is the second year event at Christ Church in Summit. Last year’s concert was performed before a packed house with rave reviews. This is a wonderful way to honor and experience African American History Month.
