On Tuesday, April 10, your local Patch Editor Mary Mann and Marketing/Advertising Specialist Rebecca Hughes will join forces to hold a "Patch Academy" at at 8:30 a.m.
Complimentary coffee and danish will be served.
We want to show you, our neighbors, how you can best utilize the site for your benefit. We'll teach you how to add events or announcements to the site for all to see; how to upload photos and videos from local events or hapenings; and introduce you to Local Voices, a special section where members of the community can write about the topics they care about most.
We also want to tell you more about Patch Places, our local business directory. If you're a small business owner, we'll help you claim your Patch Places listing (it's free!). Doing so will allow you to "own" your page on our site.
Also included will be valuable Local Business Marketing information such as reaching out with Facebook and Twitter, monitoring review sites like Yelp, and general pointers for getting your business out there.
Patch Academy is free and open to everyone, so please stop by, talk with us and learn about all of the great ways that Patch can serve you and our community.
We look forward to seeing you on April 10.
