Lorena's and Verjus Named Best in State
Maplewood restaurants again make top 25 list in New Jersey Monthly; Arturo's gets 'critic's choice' nod for Best Pizza.
Two Maplewood restaurants, Lorena's and Verjus, made it onto this year's New Jersey Monthly's Top 25 Best Restaurant List.
It is not the first time for either of these beloved Maplewood classics, which both serve French cuisine.
Lorena's, helmed by chef Humberto Campos, is "tweaking the bistro classics that made [it] an instant hit when it opened eight years ago," according to the article.

Another local favorite, Arturo's Osteria and Pizzeria, was named "critic's choice" for Best Pizza. No surprise to Maplewoodians, who rave over James Beard-nominated chef Dan Richer's delectable Italian food.
