Maplewood Restaurant Named Best Overall in North Jersey
Lorena's lands multiple lists in Open Table's Diners' Choice Awards.
Open Table, a site that lets you book reservations at restaurants around the country, as well as rate and review them, has announced Diners' Choice Award Winners in 21 categories.
It's no surprise Lorena's in Maplewood landed on several of the North Jersey lists, but do you agree with the choices? Lorena's has garnered all kinds of praise since opening on Maplewood Avenue in 2005. Reviewers on Open Table give the French Restaurant 4.7 out of 5 stars.
One reviewer writes, "We always enjoy our meal and experience at Lorena's. After countless meals over the years, we have never been disappointed!"
"My wife and I both agreed that our meals at Lorena were among the most memorable of our lives," said another.
While the majority of diners who have commented are positive, a few wrote that their waiter was not as attentive as they had hoped.
"Service beginning meal very good, middle to end poor," one reviewer wrote.
In addition to Best Overall, the restaurant made the list for Best Food, Best Service, Fit For Foodies and Best French.
