Maplewood Village Hosts Customer Appreciation Day

Shops and restaurants will offer specials and events on Saturday; also, the Village has its first annual breast cancer walk.

Twenty-six shops and restaurants -- three that are brand-new to town -- will feature deals, discounts, sales and specials on Maplewood Village's Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday, Sept. 29.

"We are always saying thank you to our customers for shopping and dining locally, but we wanted to do something that shows them how much we appreciate their loyalty," said Julie Doran, manager of the Maplewood Village Alliance, which coordinates the event. "It's simply a day of special savings as a way of showing our thanks for keeping it local."
