Springfield Avenue Welcomes Elite Tutoring in New Location

After four years on the Avenue, a new, central location for this tutoring success story.

Good news for local, small businesses is not just confined to Maplewood Village (read about or soon-to-open businesses ).

Springfield Avenue also has something to crow about.

On April 21, Maplewood Mayor Vic De Luca and Deputy Mayor Kathy Leventhal cut the ribbon at Elite Tutoring's new location at 1877 Springfield Avenue with business owner Edward Fullerton and director Ingrid Fullerton.

Elite Tutoring celebrated four years of services on Springfield Avenue when they moved to this new location in March. Formerly near Boyden Avenue, Elite has moved closer into the Avenue's central "node" near Prospect Street — an easy, walkable location for parents with , , , , , , , , and other family-friendly businesses nearby.

Fullerton is a certified math teacher with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. Elite Tutoring uses a variety of modalities to support the visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners in opportunities to use higher order thinking through inquiry and analysis.
