Wonderful Weather for a Girls Night Out TONIGHT!

The skies have cleared to make way for some serious shopping – and fun – in Maplewood Village.

Maplewood Village has earned a great reputation for hosting groovy events in the past, and hopes to add to our claim to commerce fame.

“Over 20 businesses are participating including , , , , , , , and more,” says , owner of Perch.  “Join us for fun promotions and discounts throughout the Village from 6 – 9 p.m.”

Over on Baker, the street was bustling with activity preparing for the fashionista focused event:

“This is our first ‘Girls Night Out’ since opening and we’re excited to get in on the fun,” shares an exuberant of . In addition to free coffee and biscotti, the boutique will be donating 10% of every sale to the Susan G. Komen Foundation as part of their ‘ initiative. (You’ll also find beautiful hand-crafted bracelets that contribute to breast cancer research as well.)

Further down the street, the Grand Dame behind Maplewood’s most enduring — and treasured — gift shops, of , was even willing to share some extra incentives with Patch. “You can tell shoppers to mention my granddaughter’s name (Molly!) for an extra 15% off tonight,” she says with a smile. “It’s finally stopped raining, and it looks like the only things falling tonight will be some leaves. That alone is reason to grab your friends and head on down!”

Really, my mind was made up at the mere mention of GNO- well, that and that hilarious MOL thread!

Hope to see you all there!
