Girl Talk in SOMA

Local counselor and coach hosts program for elementary school girls.

 

Girl Talk, a group for girls in grades 3-5, will be held in two locations in South Orange and Maplewood in March.

The group will allow girls to explore who they are and celebrate their strengths. Having fun, they will:

  • role-play and learn the difference between aggressive, passive and assertive behaviors 
  • examine their own behaviors and choices
  • discuss healthy friendships, conflict resolution, girl bullying

The group will take place on Mondays in March (3/4, 3/11, 3/18 and 3/25 at 181 Village Road in South Orange, and on Tuesdays in March (3/5, 3/12, 3/19 and 3/26) at Parteaz in Maplewood.

Led by Sydney Davis MS, Certified School Counselor, Certified Coach. Cost: $175. Space is limited to 8 participants. To register, email sydney@letsrise.org or call (862) 223-9054.
